🌟 My Story

Early Beginnings in Miami

I was born in Miami, Florida. My story begins when I was very young and spent my days with my grandmother while my parents were at work. We would do crafts together, and one day she made me a hula outfit out of paper streamers. I thought it was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen.

Her name was Nora Jane Clock, and she worked at one of the most prestigious stores in South Florida — Burdines Department Store. She always had the latest Vogue magazine on her coffee table. I would flip through the pages again and again, studying the models and clothing, and soon began drawing my own designs. My parents enrolled me in modeling lessons, and my love for fashion continued to grow.

A New Life in Ohio

When I was around eight years old, we moved to Ohio after my dad received a good job opportunity. My grandfather was from Bryan, Ohio, which is where I still live today.

In 7th grade, my Home Economics teacher, Betty Finken, taught me the basics of sewing. My mom was also a talented seamstress, and I wore many of her handmade outfits growing up. She eventually took me to a professional seamstress in town for lessons. I was thrilled — constantly buying patterns and fabric to design new styles.

During the first two weeks of my freshman year of high school, I was voted “Best Dressed” by the school newspaper for wearing my own creations. I continued sewing throughout high school.

Early Achievements in Fashion & Pageantry

At 17, my grandfather entered me into a competition to go on tour with Seventeen Magazine, doing fashion shows across the Midwest. Four hundred girls auditioned. I was scared, but my grandparents encouraged me — and I was chosen as one of only 30 girls to join the tour and appear in the magazine.

At 21, I designed a costume and competed in Miss Ohio USA against 105 contestants. My costume won, and I received Miss Photogenic, but I wasn’t quite confident enough yet to take the final crown.

I eventually returned to Miami and went on to win Miss Miami Beach, Miss Florida, and Miss North America. These titles opened doors to television, print work, and fashion shows. I was asked to coordinate fashion shows and became the State Director of the Miss Florida Pageant at age 23. I appeared on television up to 14 times a day in South Florida commercials.

My big break came when I landed a principal role on Miami Vice with Don Johnson and Philip Michael Thomas. I was also flown to New York for a two‑page feature in Good Housekeeping Magazine as Miss North America.

Marriage, Ohio, and Building a Business

At 25, I married my best friend and moved back to Ohio. We bought a Victorian home, and I began renovating, antiquing, and restoring it.

I launched Frazer Studios Photography on the second floor of our home while we lived downstairs. The business grew quickly, and we purchased a building on the square in downtown Bryan. I had 10 full‑time employees.

I advertised in Seventeen and Young Miss magazines for my Young American Miss Showcase competition, helping young women gain opportunities in modeling and acting. Oral Roberts University sponsored over $250,000 in college scholarships for our winners each year.

As a professional photographer, I had models and actors flying to Bryan — or I would fly to them across the country.

Motherhood and a Shift in Priorities

When I became a mom, everything needed to slow down. After four years, I sold my downtown building and moved my business back home so I could be with my children.

I learned firsthand the sacrifices women make to balance work and family. There is very little time for ourselves, and when you have staff, you must ensure they’re paid every Friday. I understood inventory, retail, and the constant pressure of running a business.

I would work all day, go home to feed the kids, help with homework, tuck them into bed, kiss my husband goodnight — and then return to my store to finish work for my additional project, the Young American Model Magazine, which brought in thousands of dollars in sponsorships for the Young American Miss participants and winners. 

The Internet Era & A New Direction

I remember when the internet first arrived. It was clunky and slow, and I didn’t think it would amount to much. After nine years, we realized our kids needed even more flexibility, so I retired my photography business — which had grown into a large wedding business — and passed my pageant to a friend.

I had always been interested in health and wellness, so I hired a team in China to build a website to market cardio screening machines I imported from Korea. This led to opportunities to consult for direct selling companies. I traveled worldwide — Asia, South America, Dubai, Central America, and Canada — and learned the power of online and social media marketing.

I became knowledgeable in nutrition and skincare through my clients. Consulting was a roller coaster, but it paid off. Some companies didn’t survive the global pandemic, but my consulting business thrived and expanded into 13 countries. Financially, it was the best year of my life — but I was tired and ready to pursue something I was passionate about.

The Birth of Frazer Living

While many people were preparing for retirement, in 2022 I started a blog called Frazer Living, inspired by Ree Drummond, The Pioneer Woman, and her social media success. But I had no products to monetize.

Then I discovered a way to design pillows — and as a big Highland Cow fan, I created them in every color. That opened the door to designing clothing.

Over the next two years, I built my own website, learned how to create an e‑commerce platform, and designed over 550 products. Today, I am the founder of a Fashion and Home Décor Brand for women, men, children, and even pets. Our marketing arm is called America’s Got Style which offers education on how to create your personal style and rewards to Affiliates for helping to create awareness of the Frazer Living Brand. 

Supporting Local Stores Through Partnership

I have enjoyed the efforts and beauty of Boutiqe storefronts in my own town and in cities across America. And I especially didn’t want to compete with local stores, and had a strong desire to use my skills to partner with them and help them.  As a former store owner, I understood how important foot traffic is to their success. So I created a Brand Partner Program. When stores choose to purchase wholesale from Frazer Living, this relationship empowers us to promote, endorse, and educate the public online to help drive customers to them.

I will showcase the products and direct people to the stores that carry them. I also offer customers a code that gives them a discount on our website while giving the store the profit from the sale.

I want stores to order exactly the sizes they need — without tying up cash flow or waiting months for inventory. Frazer Living pieces are made fresh and delivered in 4–15 days instead of waiting for months.

I believe beauty is meant to be lived in — not saved for special occasions.
I believe clothing should move with you, not against you.
I believe home should feel warm, welcoming, and full of stories.
And I believe every woman deserves to feel confident, comfortable, and seen. Frazer Living was born from those beliefs.
