Home Decor – My Sofa Crushing Pup – family

I love to decorate my 135-year-old Victorian home and our dog, William Frazer, who is a Bichon-Freese, loves to perch himself on my sofa and watch me work on my computer. Home decorating can be as simple as adding bright, colorful pillows to a comfy pit sectional, vibrant curtains and some spring blooms. Some of you may have a pet such as a cat or dog who likes to lounge through the day. A popular spot is on the back panels of the sofa, and if you study my pit sectional, you may see the results of an unwanted that transformation that has occur as the silhouette of the top of the sofa looks lumpy and chaotic. Lesson learned: If you have a “perching pet”, when shopping for a sofa, look for those with a firm structure supporting the back panels so that when they decided to nest themselves on the back of your sofa (as if they are ready for a photo shoot), your sofa structure does not collapse making a new sofa quickly look old and tired. The other option is to place some cardboard across the back of the sofa to add extra support and then add a “throw ” blanket to cover it. (Click here to see how to remove unwanted sofa stains)
